Positive and Proactive Statement. In dealing with this application, the Council has worked with the applicant in the following ways: - seeking further information following receipt of the application; - seeking amendments to the proposed development following receipt of the application; and - considering the imposition of conditions. In such ways the Council has demonstrated a positive and proactive manner in seeking solutions to problems arising in relation to the planning application.
The applicants attention is drawn to the comments of National Highways on the application that the surface water system (labelled 600 Ø SWS on the Drainage Connectivity Drawing No. TS24-198-1) is shown to run north along the site boundary from the northern Direct Access on National Highways land. However, this is not shown on National Highways' drainage system and is not adopted by the local Water Authority. The applicant has agreed to re-route the 100mm surface water sewer within the site so that it discharges to the SWS inspection chamber within the curtilage of the site. (NB This is not a requirement of the grant of this planning consent.)
