| The proposed development is judged to go beyond building operations reasonably necessary to convert the building into a dwellinghouses and would therefore constitute a new build rather than a conversion of the original building. Proposed unit 1 is not considered to provide adequate natural light in all habitable rooms due to the north facing windows of the centrally located bedrooms being obstructed by the wall of the proposed external courtyard. As such, the proposal does not comply with Class Q(c), Q.1(j) and Q.2(g) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development Order) 2015 (as amended). |
