Sustainable Development and a Prosperous Rural Economy A lack of evidence was evident within the application to support any proposal to deliver a sustainable local business and community need to support a prosperous rural economy, contrary to SWDP 36 Static and Touring Caravans, Chalets and Camping Sites, and the relevant aims and objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), in particular Section 2: Achieving Sustainable Development, and NPPF paragraphs 88 - 89: Supporting a prosperous rural economy.
Landscape Character Assessment This proposal has failed to demonstrate how the proposals take into account the latest Landscape Character Assessment and its guidelines, how they are appropriate to and integrate with the character of the existing landscape (including taking into account the impact upon long distance landscape vistas / viewpoints), or take any opportunity to enhance the landscape, contrary to Local Plan Policy SWDP 25 Landscape Character, and SWDP 36 Static and Touring Caravans, Chalets and Camping Sites, and the relevant aims and objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework.
Sustainable Travel Options and impact on transport networks These proposals have failed to demonstrate how they would minimise demand for travel or provide sustainable travel options to provide a sustainable development, contrary to Local Plan Policies SWDP 4 Moving around South Worcestershire; SWDP 34 Tourist Development; and SWDP 36 Static and Touring Caravans, Chalets and Camping Sites, and the relevant aims and objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework (particularly paragraph 89). Further, these proposals fail to understand or address any potential impacts of development on transport networks as no evidence has been submitted to demonstrate this, contrary to National Planning Policy Framework paragraph 9 Promoting Sustainable Transport.
Residential Amenity and Noise Pollution To ensure the protection and safeguarding of nearby residential amenity and to prevent unacceptable noise pollution to the detriment of human health contrary to policy SWDP31 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan and the relevant aims and objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework.
