Condition Details / Information Notes
Insufficient evidence has been submitted to demonstrate that the building formed part of an established agricultural unit or was in active agricultural use on or before 24 July 2023, as required by Class Q.1(a)(i) of Part 3, Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). Site photographs dated 25th September 2025, show that the building appears to have predominantly a domestic character, containing items associated with residential or ancillary domestic use rather than agricultural activity. In the absence of substantive evidence to demonstrate established agricultural use, the proposal fails to comply with the requirements of Class Q.1(a)(i) and therefore does not constitute permitted development under Class Q.

The application fails to provide details regarding the existence or termination of any agricultural tenancy over the site, or written confirmation from both the landlord and tenant that the site is no longer required for agricultural use.
