Condition Details / Information Notes
The works to which this Listed Building Consent relates must be commenced before the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent. Reason: To conform with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990
Unless where required or allowed by other conditions attached to this permission/consent, the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the information (including details on the proposed materials) provided on the application form and the following plans/drawings/documents – 166501 Site 166510 existing 1665-11B proposed 1665-12 proposed Updated1665 design and access statement incorporating heritage statement Reason: To define the permission
(A) No works shall take place until a programme of archaeological work relating to the heritage structure, including a Written Scheme of Investigation, has been submitted to and approved by the local planning authority in writing. The scheme shall include an assessment of significance and research questions and: 1) the programme and methodology for investigation and recording of the building fabric, including recording during opening-up works where previously concealed elements may be revealed. 2) The programme for post investigation assessment. 3) Provision to be made for analysis of the investigation and recording. 4) Provision to be made for publication and dissemination of the analysis and records of the investigation. 5) Provision to be made for archive deposition of the analysis and records. 6) Nomination of a competent person or persons/organisation to undertake the works set out within the Written Scheme of Investigation. (B) The archaeological work shall be carried out in accordance with the programme set out in the Written Scheme of Investigation approved under condition (A). The post-investigation assessment, analysis, publication, dissemination of results and archive deposition shall be completed in accordance with the approved scheme. Reason: To protect, conserve and enhance the significance of heritage assets in accordance with national policy and the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review 2026.
Prior to their installation as part of the development hereby approved, details of the following shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority:- - Elevation and cross section drawings of new and historic doors and associated joinery showing materials, design, method of opening, finish and frame in order to ensure that the proposed joinery matches the existing. The works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure that the proposed works preserve the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building, in accordance with legislation and policy.
Positive and Proactive Statement. In dealing with this application, the Council has worked with the applicant in the following ways: - seeking further information following receipt of the application; and - seeking amendments to the proposed development following receipt of the application. In such ways the Council has demonstrated a positive and proactive manner in seeking solutions to problems arising in relation to the planning application.
Please note: A fee is chargeable for the provision of archaeological curatorial services. The service includes advice and liaison throughout the archaeological works, including the provision of a brief (if requested), checking the Written Scheme of Investigation for compliance with local and national standards, monitoring fieldwork and ensuring any archaeological reports generated by the project are acceptable. The Archaeology and Planning Advisor will be happy to offer advice on all stages of the proceedings. Additional site visits will be chargeable at £60 per visit if required if it is considered that breaches of condition have taken place or when other situations arise that require a visit additional to the usual service. As this scheme is considered to be a small-scale development of less than 1-ha the fee for curatorial services will be £120.00 (Inc VAT).
