The work must be carried out within two years from the date of this permission. Reason: As trees continue to grow, altering in shape and size, some works granted consent may become inappropriate and will require up to date assessment.
Prior to the removal of the tree(s), details regarding the size, species and location of a replacement tree(s) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The replacement tree(s) shall be planted within 12 months of removal of the tree(s). If within a period of five years from the date of planting, the tree(s) (or any other tree(s) planted in replacement for it/them) is/are removed, uprooted or destroyed or dies, another tree/other trees of the same size and species shall be planted at the same place, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure a satisfactory replacement of the tree(s) to be removed, in accordance with policies SWDPR05, SWDPR28 and SWDPR34 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review 2026.
The tree works hereby permitted shall be carried out in accordance with BS 3998:2010 (Tree Work) Reason: To attempt to avoid damage to the tree or neighbouring trees, property and services and encourage best practice in planning works and safe operations.
All wild bird species are legally protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended) from any form of disturbance between the onset of nest building and until such time as any dependent young have left the nest, principally from the beginning of March to the end of August.
Not enough evidence at this point has been submitted to justify this trees removal. The applicant has agreed to see how well it leaves this summer and then reassess its condition.
