Condition Details / Information Notes
The works to which this Listed Building Consent relates must be commenced before the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent. Reason: To conform with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
Unless where required or allowed by other conditions attached to this permission/consent, the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the information (including details on the proposed materials) provided on the application form and the following plans/drawings/documents – Heritage Statement Design and Access Statement Condition Survey Schedule of Works Elevation Annotated Photographs Bat Survey Update 2023: Accommodation Block and Castle Building Location Plan Block Plan 2812.05 W18 Window Details. Reason: To define the permission.
Prior to installation, details of the materials to be used in the construction of the external surfaces of the Administration Block hereby permitted have been submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. The details to be submitted shall include:- lime mortar mix, colour and finish:- paint type, colour and finish. Reason: To protect, conserve and enhance the significance of heritage assets and to ensure that the new materials are in keeping with the surroundings and/or represent quality design in accordance with policies SWDP 6, SWDP21 and SWDP24 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan.
In relation to Window 18 on the south elevation, a detailed survey must be carried out prior to its removal to establish if repair is possible rather than replacement. The outcome of the survey and consequent proposal must be agreed in writing with the Conservation Officer. Reason: To protect, conserve and enhance the significance of heritage assets and to ensure that the new materials are in keeping with the surroundings and/or represent quality design in accordance with policies SWDP 6, SWDP21 and SWDP24 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan.
The development hereby permitted shall be carried out in strict accordance with the recommendations set out in the Bat Surveys 2023:Accommodation Block and Castle Building report carried out by Swift Ecology Ltd dated September 2023 and submitted with this application. In particular: - Appendix 6, Bat Mitigation Plan Reason: To ensure the development contributes to the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity within the site and the wider area in accordance with policy SWDP22 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan.
Positive and Proactive Statement. No problems have arisen in dealing with this application. The planning application sought an acceptable form of development consistent with the requirements of relevant policies and material considerations. No amendments or alterations were therefore required and no further positive or proactive action was deemed necessary.
